Spills

My starting point is the sea, the water surface and the movement. Due to the specifics of the encaustic technique, in which by heating it works with melted beeswax, vegetable resin and pigments, my work is closer to abstraction. The result is a picturesque material with complex overlays and tears, which are based on chance. Interestingly, all the movements of this living matter are absolutely unique and unrepeatable. I like to experiment and it is a challenge for me to work with this technique.

Spills
